Community guidelines
Tynged is for adults aged 18 and over. Share thoughts, meet people and play games without putting anyone at risk.
1. These rules apply everywhere
They cover posts, comments, profiles, pictures, videos, direct messages, voice conversations, game chat, card gifts, links and conduct intended to take an abusive interaction off Tynged. Private sharing and disappearing or disguised wording are not exceptions. Paying for Plus does not change the rules.
2. Adults only; be honest about your age
You must be at least 18 and meet any higher local eligibility requirement. No accounts for children, no shared access for minors, no false birthdays and no borrowed verification documents. Report suspected underage accounts. A pseudonym is welcome; impersonation and fake verification are not.
3. Child safety: zero tolerance
Tynged prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). A child means anyone under 18. Do not create, possess through the service, upload, request, trade, distribute, link to or promote material that sexualizes children. This includes altered, illustrated, fictional or computer-generated sexual depictions.
Grooming, sexual enticement, sexual conversations with minors, sextortion, trafficking and arranging or facilitating abuse are prohibited. Never request a child's intimate image or encourage a child to move to another service for sexual contact. There is no consent or "joke" exception.
Use an in-app report or contact@tynged.app with the subject "Child safety". Provide an account name, link or content identifier and a brief description; do not download, attach, forward or repost suspected CSAM. Good-faith reporting is welcome. We remove access to such material, immediately block accounts on reasonable suspicion under the enforcement rule below, preserve necessary evidence lawfully, and make required reports to the appropriate authorities or child-protection bodies. Our designated child-safety contact must be confirmed before publication.
4. No gore, sexual violence or terrorist content
No graphic injury, mutilation, torture, executions, animal cruelty or celebration of violent suffering. No sexual assault, coercion, rape promotion, sexual threats, non-consensual intimate imagery or sexual deepfakes. Do not threaten a person or expose private information to endanger them.
No terrorist or violent extremist propaganda, recruitment, fundraising, praise of attacks, instruction, coordination or material circulated on behalf of such groups. Do not provide help to plan violence or obtain weapons for it.
Non-graphic, good-faith discussion of public events, prevention or survivors' experiences is different from propagating abuse; it must not contain prohibited imagery, identify victims without authority, recruit, glorify or facilitate harm. Use the reporting route to alert us, not a public repost.
5. No sexual solicitation; respect boundaries
Do not ask for sex, sexting, sexual favours, sexual services or intimate images. Do not post pornography, nudity, explicit sexual approaches or sexual advertisements. Coercion, payment offers, coded wording and invitations to continue prohibited activity elsewhere are also prohibited. Tynged is 18+, not a sexual-content platform.
Do not pressure someone to reply, repeatedly invite them after a refusal, evade a block or send unsolicited requests for messages in post comments. Short DM requests from people not favourited by the post creator may be blocked. Favouriting someone does not waive their boundaries.
6. Disagree without abuse
No harassment, stalking, bullying, hate speech, slurs, dehumanization or threats based on identity, religion, nationality, disability, gender, sexuality or other protected characteristics. Criticism and ordinary disagreement are allowed without personal abuse. Do not encourage self-harm, exploit someone in distress or publish dangerous challenges. Seek emergency assistance for immediate danger.
Do not evade profanity masking or moderation with spaces, symbols, alternative spellings or repeated uploads. Masking is a display preference, not permission to post otherwise prohibited content.
7. Protect privacy and ownership
Do not expose addresses, contact details, identification documents, private conversations or intimate information without lawful authority. Do not record or circulate private voice conversations without permission. Share only material you own or have the right to use. Respect profile-access choices. Never demand someone's real name or private details as a condition of a gift or game.
8. Keep interactions honest and games fair
No scams, impersonation, extortion, spam, deceptive advertising, illegal sales, account trading or fraud. Do not misrepresent fabricated media as real. No cheats, collusion, reward farming, exploiting mistakes, or manipulating rankings or matches. Gold Coins, Karma and cards are not money, investments or betting instruments. Report errors rather than exploiting them.
9. Report a concern or ask for help
Use the report option on the relevant content or account, block unwanted contact, or email contact@tynged.app. A person affected by content may report it without creating an account. Include the username, content location or identifier, approximate date, the rule involved and enough context to locate it. Never send your password or illegal imagery. Use "Urgent safety" for an immediate safety concern and "Child safety" for suspected exploitation.
We limit sharing of reporter details to legitimate safety, review and legal needs; confidentiality cannot be absolute when disclosure is legally required. Retaliation is prohibited. Knowingly false or abusive reports may lead to action; an honest mistake or good-faith complaint is not abuse.

10. Urgent removal of intimate images or impersonation
If an intimate photo or video of you was shared without permission, including a fabricated sexual depiction, email contact@tynged.app with the subject "Urgent intimate-image removal" or use an in-app report. You or someone authorized to act for you may submit the request. Include:
- Your name and a safe way to contact you.
- The link, account, post/message identifier or other details that let us locate the content.
- A statement that you did not consent to its publication and, if applicable, your authority to act for the person depicted.
- Your typed name as an electronic signature.
Do not attach or redistribute the imagery, especially if a child is depicted. Missing formal details do not stop us from acting under our safety rules. We act as soon as possible. Where the US TAKE IT DOWN Act applies, a valid request triggers removal of the content and reasonable efforts to remove known identical copies within 48 hours. Shorter applicable duties prevail, including India's two-hour requirement for qualifying complaints. Safety removals may happen immediately while facts are reviewed.
11. Immediate restrictions, permanent bans and appeals
Reasonable suspicion that an account is propagating CSAM, child exploitation, gore, sexual violence or terrorist material leads to an immediate access ban and restriction of the material pending review. Confirmed violations lead to a permanent ban. We do not wait for a criminal conviction. Serious cases may be reported and preserved as required by law or, where lawful and justified, to protect people. We do not punish victims for seeking help.
Other breaches may lead to content removal, a warning, reduced features, suspension or termination depending on severity and repetition. Do not create replacement accounts to evade action. If we made a mistake, email contact@tynged.app with "Account appeal" and explain why. We review relevant context and correct errors without requiring you to repost harmful content. Statutory complaint and appeal rights remain intact.
